Basic Environmental Policy (New JRC)

1. We comply with agreed environment-related laws, policies, etc., while also establishing and complying with any necessary voluntary standards.
2. We create and review basic documentation for the environmental management system to continuously improve it.
3. We set environmental objectives and targets, thereby striving to continuously improve environmental performance.
4. To reduce environmental loads and prevent pollution, we engage in the following activities to prevent global warming, reduce waste and hazardous substances, and save resources.
   • Perform energy saving at manufacturing and service facilities, and electricity saving campaigns
   • Control release of general and industrial wastes
   • Work towards reducing manufacturing chemical emissions and substituting materials with lower environmental loads
   • Work towards developing and offering environmentally friendly products, such as low-power products
   • Manage chemicals in products to promote elimination and reduction of hazardous substances
   • Expand environmentally beneficial activities through improvement of primary business
5. We implement social contribution activities, thereby striving to nature conservation and environmental protection.
6. We provide environmental education to all staff to raise awareness about environmental protection.
7. We make our environmental policy in public.
